Q. Can my designer get a discount?

A. We love working with architects, designers and decorators! In fact, we built our business on doing just that. However, industry professionals need to meet certain benchmarks to create wholesale accounts with Atlas. If your designer does not have a showroom, please have him/her check out the dealer locator. Odds are they already have a professional relationship with an Atlas dealer and will work to get you the best price and the best design.

We suggest that your designer go to our trade website at https://www.AtlasToTheTrade.com and peruse the site for ideas and more information on becoming an Atlas dealer. 

Q. Do you offer free samples?

A. Yes, you can order up to 3 different samples that are under 7” in size for the low cost of $5.00 per sample for shipping and handling. These samples are not returnable or refundable.

Please visit www.AtlasToTheTrade.com and search for your selected items, when you roll over the item it will give you the option to order a sample.

Q. Is every item in stock?

A. We stock and ship from our Los Angeles warehouse, where we maintain consistently high levels of inventory. In fact, most items are in stock and ship out either on the same day your order is placed or the very next day! In the event an item on your order will be out of stock for an extended period of time we will contact you via email immediately to apprise you of this, and offer you options. If you have not heard from us, it is likely that your items are in stock and your order will soon be on its way! You will receive an order confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order or on Monday if placed over the weekend.

Q. Did you receive my order?

A. You will receive an automated order confirmation email confirming that we have received your order. Once received, you can rest assured that your order is in our system and being processed. This automated confirmation email goes out within an hour after your order has been placed. 

Q. What is your return policy?

A. Simply return the items that you’ve purchased in their original packaging, within 30 days from the day you received them, and we’ll refund your full purchase price (less shipping) – no questions asked or fees for returns shipped within the 30 day period. Q. Are your products guaranteed and or what is your warranty?

A. Simply put, our decorative hardware is GUARANTEED and if you're not happy, we're not happy. If ever anything goes wrong with the items that you’ve purchased from Atlas Homewares simply contact us and we’ll make sure that we make it right! A lifetime warranty is offered to the original purchaser of the products. Please review our Warranty page for more information.

Q. Where is your company located?

A. Atlas Homewares is located in and ships from Los Angeles, California.

Q. What are your products made of?

A. Atlas Homewares products are made from quality metals. The actual metal type depends on the design and finish that you are ordering. In the case of Polished Aluminum, the base metal is aluminum. In the case of Cast Iron and Rust, the base metal is iron. In all other cases (except where noted, i.e. glass, ceramic, mango wood, etc.) the base metal is solid brass or zinc. We NEVER use cheap white metal composition which will eventually wear down and break.

Q. I'm buying a lot of knobs, can I get a discount?

A. Generally we do not discount for quantity. However...if you are planning on spending over $1,000.00 feel free to contact us at 800-799-6755 - you never know!

Q. I don't want to order online - any alternatives?

A. You can always visit a dealer who represents Atlas Homewares for quality service and to touch and feel the products. Please check out the dealer locator tab to see who is near you.  This website only accepts online orders at present.

Q. Will the house numbers stand up in MY climate?

A. Regardless of your time zone, we've designed our house numbers to withstand the harshness of outdoor life from Bangor, Maine to San Diego, California and beyond. The one exception are the Paragon House Numbers - they are suitable for climates up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Q. Do you sell to customers outside of the United States?

A. Currently, we only ship to Canada. Please see our Shipping page for shipping rates to Canada,

Q. Do you do any custom designs?

A. At this point we are unable to offer custom designs. Our selection of knobs, pulls, house numbers, bath ensembles, door knockers and more, is one of the largest on the internet. If you can't find it here, please let us know and perhaps it will appear in time.

Q. What do you do with my email address and other information?

A. We at Atlas value your right to privacy and would never sell, barter or rent your name or email address. Please read our complete privacy statement for more information.

A. Being one of the largest online suppliers of artistic decorative hardware is not without pitfalls. We know our site is extensive and if you can hone in on what you're looking for, you'll find that using the search features will be invaluable. But please....call us at 800-799-6755 when in doubt!

Q. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t replace my knobs and pulls?

A. Not at all.  Styles change.  Many homeowners are now replacing their hardware more often.  It’s easy and inexpensive but very impactful.  Why not treat yourself to a new look every now and again? We call this “affordable luxury”, and by the way, you deserve it!

Q. Anything special I need to know about cleaning my new decorative hardware?

A.  Simply use a damp cloth to clean our product. We recommend staying away from any soaps or cleaning chemicals to make sure the beautiful finish is not affected in any way.

Q. What is the difference between center-to-center and overall length?

A. Center-to-center is the distance from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other screw hole.

Overall length is the measurement from one end of the pull to the other end. It will also be greater than the center-to-center dimension  

 

 

Q. I notice you call out the cabinet hardware projection on your website, why is that important?

A. Projection (or height) is the distance that the knob or pulls stick out from the cabinet.  It is important to keep this in mind so you can be sure you have enough room to open doors without hitting other doors, drawer fronts or appliances.
