The #1 question that people ask us about our line of unique decorative hardware is, "How did you come up with this idea?".
Which brings us back to a sweet day, a sweet memory and the beginning of our company. It happened like this:
We were newlyweds and had just moved into our first apartment together. The place was a little beat up, but we called it home. We owned a small jewelry company together and were saving for a REAL house, so we decided that we weren't going to put too much money into this place...after all, it was a rental and all of our improvements were only going to benefit someone else's property value.
But the kitchen, well...we had to do something! So, what about some faux finishing on the cabinets - his idea. I liked that. When it was done and time to reaffix the old knobs we asked ourselves: the old ones, or should we buy something new - something that would do this beautiful paint job some justice. "O.K", I said, "new, but what?"
"What if you were to design something different, something like your jewelry line?", he said. "Hmm.", I said, "Jewelry for cabinets....I like that. I think I'll do that for the rest of my life."
